Ceramic Bowl

This is an example of my ceramic work where we had to do work based on self portrait therefore I have made ceramic bowl by carving self portrait inside the bowl after it has been fired in the kiln. I have applied ceramic colours to paint them. I have enjoyed this project throughly.

Childrens Tshirt

This project was based on children where we had to create some paper based panels and develop our designs for final outcome but I had an idea to develop my final outcome as a t-shirt which we can see in my image where I have used hand stitches as well as sewing machine to create pattern . I've used a lot of floral pattern which children would love.

101 Spots & Stripes

This project was based on black and white stripes and spots where we were only allowed to use black and white material and create spots. Therefore I have collected several black and white media as well as I have used different types of black and white paints to create them.

Fashion Illustration

This project was based on fashion illustration and I decided to work on the same concept as Christian Lacroix where he creates very similar types of illustrations. I choose to work in a slightly different way by manipulating materials and creating my own style of illustration which can be seen in the images. I have used overlapping materials, papers and finished with free hand machine.

Indian Cultural Style & Patterns

This project led me to do study colourful indian patterns where we had to use gouche paint and papers. We have been told to use bright and contrasting colours which represents indian culture. In some of my panels I've used free hand stitches. I enjoyed working on this project because I have acheieved very good effects and good outcomes which were very close to the brief that we were given.

Washing Line Project

This project was based on observational studies where we had to draw a line of clothes. We were asked to use our favourite media to develop our skills, therefore my choice was to use a multimedia approach because I could achieve several effects with it. I have used acrylic paints, water colours, printed papers but it wasn't affective enough so I decided to use sewing machine to do outlines.

Fashion Show Gateway College 2009
